Tigers Update
IASbet.com.au – Terry Wallace is reportedly doomed as Richmond coach. The Tigers are, as you would expect, a massive $301 for the flag.

Last season, Richmond won eight of its last 11 matches and narrowly missed the top-eight.
Currently they have one win, and need, given the evenness of the competition, 10 more from 15 matches – sounds unlikely, but not impossible. With Ben Cousins still warming to his new club, Trent Cotchin, Nathan Brown and perhaps Kane Johnson to return, a berth is the finals could be possible.
Personally, I believe it won’t happen, but in a season where upsets have, almost, been the norm so far, Richmond are a $7 bet with TAB Sportsbet to make the finals. The next longest is Melbourne (who have also won one game) at $51. Why, you ask? Two teams, with identical win-loss records, and such a gulf between them.

The Demons, if anything, have more of a chance. They are in better form and defeated the Tigers in their last meeting. All that can explain the odds is Richmond’s hot run at the end of last season. And, whether we go for them or not, everyone likes to see the yellow and black heading in the right direction.
Whatever Wallace’s fate, punters are clearly backing a revival from the Tigers. But the $3 for the wooden spoon at the TAB seems the better bet. Given Melbourne’s recent form – minus Brad Green – where will the Tigers’ next win come from? If you ask punters, it will be sooner rather than later.
